• Retoret (Desloratadine) is in class of drugs called antihistamines.
• Desloratadine is used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, sneezing, hives, and itching.
• It works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine) that your body makes during an allergic reaction.

Retoret active ingredient is Desloratadine 5mg.
INDICATION

• Allergic Rhinitis
• Hay fever
• Conjunctivitis (red, itchy eyes)
• Eczema
• Hives (Urticaria)
• Some food allergies

CAUTIONS
Some medicines affect how Desloratadine works or can increase the chances of you having side effects.
Tell your doctor if you're taking:

• Amiodarone, a medicine used to treat an irregular heartbeat
• Cimetidine, an indigestion medicine
• Erythromycin, an antibiotic
• Ketoconazole, a medicine to treat fungal infections

PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING
US FDA pregnancy category C: Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks.
Desloratadine excreted into human milk, avoid breast feeding during treatment.
 DIRECTIONS

• Desloratadine comes as 5mg tablets.
• The usual dose in adults is 5mg once a day.
• Doses are usually lower for people with liver problems.
