Dipgen Cream

KEY INGREDIENTS
Dipgen containing Betamethasone Dipropionate 0.5% w/w and Gentamicin 0.1% w/w.

DESCRIPTIONDipgen cream is used to treat a variety of skin conditions (e.g., eczema, dermatitis, allergies and rashes).

Betamethasone is in a class of medications called corticosteroids. It is a strong corticosteroid. It works by activating natural substances in the skin to reduce swelling, redness, and itching.
Gentamicin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria.

PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before using this medicine.

PRECAUTIONS
Do not use it on the following parts of the body unless directed to do so by your doctor.

1. Face
2. Groin Area,
3. Underarms
4. Diaper rash

• Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: poor blood circulation, immune system problems.
• Do not use if there is an infection or sore present in the area to be treated.
• Rarely, using corticosteroid medications for a long time or over large areas of skin

• Wash and dry your hands.
• Before applying the medication, clean and dry the affected area.
• Apply a thin film of the medication to the affected area and gently rub in, usually 1-2 times daily or as directed by your doctor.
• Do not cover, bandage, or wrap the area unless directed to do so by your doctor.
• If you are using the lotion form of this medication, shake the bottle well before each dose.
