DESCRIPTION

• Permethrin is used to treat scabies, a condition caused by tiny insects called mites that infest and irritate your skin.
• Permethrin belongs to a class of drugs known as pyrethrins.
• Permethrin works by paralyzing and killing the mites and their eggs.

INDICATION

Malin containing Permethrin used to treat scabies (‘mites that attach themselves to the skin) in adults and children 2 months of age and older.

PRECAUTIONS

• Before using permethrin, tell your doctor if you are allergic to Permethrin.
• Children under 2 months. Safety and efficacy not established.
• Tell your doctor if you are pregnant/ nursing before using this medication.
• If you have skin infections, or asthma.
• Avoid getting permethrin in your nose, ears, mouth, vagina, or eyes.
• If the medicine gets in any of these areas, flush with plenty of water.
• Do not use more medication than prescribed.

DIRECTIONS

• Apply the Lotion from Neck to toe.
• Including under your nails and in skin folds such as between the toes
• Leave on for 8-14 hours, rinse;
• Reapply in 7 days after first application.
